Athletics News 2nd March
Well done to all our athletes who represented our school recently. Congratulations to our Senior team who got third overall and our first year team who got 7th overall. Thanks to our athletics coach Mary for all her hard work and dedication.
Athletics News 7th February 2022
It has been a busy couple of weeks for our athletes, with a several students participating in recent events.
National Sports Campus Indoor Event
At the weekend a number of our students were successful at the National Sports Campus indoor event for their clubs.
Clare O’Connor (5th year) came 3rd in the 800m U19 running.
Cliodhna Ryan (TY) came 3rd in the 1500m U18 running and 2nd in the 800m U18 running.
Chidinma Adikabe (2 Kestral) came 1st in the U15 60m sprint and 2nd in the U15 long jump.
Meave O’Leary (2 Kestral) came 2nd in U15 high jump. She had a personal best height of 1m 39cm.
Goda Buivydyte (2 Heron) came 2nd in the U15 800m running.
Jocelyn Hanks (2 Heron) came 5th in the U15 long jump.
Aimee Ryan (1 Brandon) came 5th in the 60m sprint final.

Schools Athletics Success
Congratulations to all our athletes who took part in the North Leinster schools athletics event in the Phoneix Park.
- Our Senior girls Clare, Aisling and Eva came 3rd in the senior event.
- Our Minor girls team came 2nd overall.
- Goda Buivydyte came 2nd in the junior race.

Intermediate– Lily Farrell, Eleanor Hopkins, Shona Gogarty, Sadhbh Dunne and Cliodhna Ryan.
Junior- Jessica George, Grace Tyrrell, Lauren Smith, Joclyn Hanks and Goda Buivydyte.
Minor- Aimee Ryan, Erin Byrne, Aoibhinn Byrne, Ella O’Donnell, Danielle Obioha, Lama Elghobashy, Wiktoria Cieniawa, Leah O’Neill.
