Mon 24/2: The Minor 1 Team (Second Year) had a tough away loss v Sutton Park School. They should be proud of their performance as this opposition have reached the Leinster Schools Final this year
Tues 25/2: Five matches were played including four First Year and one Second Year match. Two First Year teams played two matches each v St Marys’s Glasnevin in their first league encounters. We came away with 3 wins and 1 draw. The Minor 2 team also played v St Marys and came away with a draw. A good day in all with no losses from the five matches and only one goal conceded!
Wed 26/2 was the turn of the Junior and Senior Teams v Holy Faith Clontarf. Two very close encounters and end to end hockey but unfortunately the Juniors lost 2-0. The Seniors dominated for much of the match and gave away a goal against the run of play but then came back to equalise with a superbly taken goal by Caitlin Dowdall to draw 1-1
Training continues after school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and attendance is a must on your relevant days.
