On Friday 12th April 2024 the school held a fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland. We also raised awareness of Cystic Fibrosis by running a poster campaign and made an announcement over the intercom.
Cystic Fibrosis is a genetically inherited disease that affects 1 in 1000 people in Ireland. It affects the lungs and digestive system. Treatment includes drug therapy and lung transplants.
Thanks to the generosity of all who donated, St Dominic’s College has been able to support the important work of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
