St Dominic’s Finishes Second in All-Ireland Camogie Final

St Patrick's Academy 1 (10) - St Dominic's, Cabra 0 (7)

On 22nd February, our Camogie Seniors battled against St Patrick's Academy, Dungannon in their final. It took place at Kingspan Breffni Park, Cavan. Unfortunately our girls didn't quite catch up with their Ulster rivals in the end.

According to the Camogie Association, the Ulster team withstood "a rally from their Dublin rivals." Jody Couch was also given particular mention on their site, having scored five points.

Well done to our girls. We're extremely proud of what you achieved. To come second in the country is an outstanding achievement.

Here are just a few of the tweets supporting our team...

Best of luck to @stdominicscabra playing St Patrick’s Academy Dungannon in the All Ireland Final tomorrow in Dundalk IT at 1:15. Special mention to our own players Siobhan Bryne Shauna Mccarthy, Libby Peppard, Clodagh Mulvaney, Sophie McManus and Beth Donohoe. C’mon the parish. pic.twitter.com/9qBi1fzjIJ

The last hurdle awaits our SOPER ladys and their @stdominicscabra team mates this Saturday.
They play in the @TescoIrl All Ireland Camogie Final at 4PM in Breffni Park, Cavan. A brilliant example of talent from the Dublin 7 &15 areas.
Best wishes to all#camogie #dublincamogie pic.twitter.com/6G9nF1XYI7
